Rear axle Flip Chip adjusts the Chainstay Length between 440mm and 450mm with a 29er rear wheel and 435mm and 445mm with a 27.5 rear wheel. No other frame geomtery changes when switching between 29 and 27.5 rear wheels when using the Flip Chip. The Shock Flip Chip changes shock progression and has no effect on frame geometry.

How do I adjust the flip chips on the Fury Carbon?

The Fury Carbon has three flip chips. One in the rear axle adjusting the wheel base and chainstay length, one at the bottom of the shock mount adjusting the progression, and one on the seatstays adjusting the geometry to accommodate both MX or 29er wheels. All adjustments can be done trail side with a multitool. The dropout flip chip provides +/-10mm of wheelbase allowing riders to choose between 435mm or 445mm length chainstays.

To adjust the dropout flip chip, simply remove the rear wheel, then pop out and flip around the thru-axle mounts to adjust them to either a short or long wheelbase. Lastly, unbolt and reblot the rear brake mount matching the wheelbase setting you chose.

To adjust the progression flip chip under the rear shock, simply unbolt the bottom shock mount bolt, then popout the hardware and flip it around. Then reinstall the shock and torque the bolt to 10Nm.

To adjust the seatstay flip chip to accommodate either MX or 29er wheels, simply unbolt and flip around the flip chip located at the top the seat stay. Then reinstall the bolt and tighten to 7Nm.
